Evgeny Konnov is a Russian pianist. He has given concerts in numerous concert halls in Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Malta, Poland and Russia. In 2014 he won the first prize at the “Siegfried Gschwilm” Internastional Piano Competition in Augsburg, Germany. In 2016 he won the first prize at the “Piano Talents” Int. Piano Competition in Milan, Italy. In 2016 he won the first prize in two categories: “Superior" and “Excellence" and special prize of "Best execution of Russian music" at the International Piano Competition of “Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Meryem” in Rabat, Marocco.
In 2017 he won the first prize at the 1st Clavis Bavaris and the special prize of “Best execution of Russian music" Int. Piano Competition in Bad Tolz (Germany). In 2017 he won the first prize at the 1st Mozart International Competition in Berlin (Germany). In 2017 he won the first prize in the Malta International Piano Festival and Competition in Valletta (Malta). In 2017 he won the first prize and Concert tour in the Concurso Internacional de Piano “Compositores de España" in Madrid, Spain. In 2017 he won the first prize at the II Future Stars International Piano Competition, among other awards.







LUKE JONES (UNITED KINGDOM)

Luke Jones was born in June of 1995. He attended Chethams School of Music under the tutelage of Murray McLachlan (2006-2013), and the Music Concervatory “Lorenzo Perosi” under the tutelage of Carlo Grante (2013-2015). Luke Jones is currently studying at Royal Northern College of Music formerly under the tutelage of Frank Wibaut, now studying with Diana Parakhina.
Luke Jones has participated in Masterclasses with notable musicians such as Leslie Howard, Vladimir Tropp, Sergejs Osokins, Bernard Roberts, Hamish Milne, Peter Donohoe, Stephen Hough, Llyr Williams, David Wilde and Philippe Cassard. He performed at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, at the Auditorium del Massimo in Rome, at the National Eisteddfod Pavilion (2013), at the Eaton Square Chapel in London, at Wienersaal in Salzburg, among others.
Luke Jones obtained the following awards; 3rd Prize at EPTA National Piano Competition, 3rd Prize at Manchester International Piano Concerto Competition, 1st Prize at Chopin-Rome International Piano Competition “Sezione A”, 1st Prize at Aci Bertoncelj International Piano Competition, Slovenia, Instrumental Blue-Riband, National Eisteddfod of Wales and the 1st Prize Fergal O’ Mahony RNCM Piano Competition, among others.







ALEXEY SYCHEV (RUSSIA)

Alexey Sychev is a Russian pianist born in 1988. He is graduated with distinction from the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and he is also graduated from the Mozarteum University Salzburg and from the University of Music Vienna. Currently, Alexey Sychev is pursuing Konzertexamen Diploma at the University of Munster with Arnulf von Arnim.

Alexey Sychev is a laureate of 23 international piano competitions across four continents. Between 2012 and 2015 he had received a total of seven 1st prizes from over 5 different countries.

Alexey Sychev has performed recitals in 16 countries and has performed with orchestras throughout Europe and South America. He also performed in various international festivals and in different significant places such as the Great Hall of Moscow Conservatory, the National Congress of Chile, Rudolfinum Hall in Prague, Salle Cortot in Paris.

Levon Avagyan - First Prize


Levon Avagyan was born in 1990 in Yerevan, Armenia. He studied at the Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas with Prof. Vagharshak  Harutyunyan in his home city.

From 2010 he studies with Professor Milana Chernyavska at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Graz, Austria.    
Since 2011, due to his extraordinary talent, Levon has the privilege to be a member of the International Academy of Music in Fürstentum Liechtenstein. He regularly takes part in master-classes of the Academy and has the opportunity to perform within the framework of the Academy Concerts.  

Levon Avagyan is the Prize Winner of numerous competitions such as: The 11th International Competition of young pianists in Greece, 2005; The 7th Competition of young pianists after A. Babajanyan in Armenia, 2006; The 15th International Piano Competition «Jeunes Talents» in France, 2012; The 2th International Komitas Festival-Competition in Berlin, 2013; The 3th International Piano Competition «San Donà di Piave» in Italy.

In addition, Levon was the member of the prestigious Spivakov Foundation in Moscow, Russia and the Foundation «New Names» in Yerevan, Armenia. Since 2008 he is a member of Berlin's cultural project Kammerton.
In 2012 he won the Martha-Debelli Competition in Graz, Austria and in October 2013 he had successful recital in Bad Kissinger Klavierolymp Festival in Germany.

In January 2014 Levon won the Yamaha-Prize and got a scholarship of the YMFE-Foundation. In 2015 Levon won The 2nd  International Piano Competition «Forum per Tasti» in Slovakia, and The 2nd  International Piano Competition «Roberta Gallinari» in Italia. In June 2016 he got the 2nd Prize at the XVIII International Piano Competition «Santa Cecilia» in Portugal and 2nd  Prize  at the XX «Stefano Marizza» International Piano Competition in Trieste, in Italy and also 2nd  Prize «Isidor Bajic» International Piano Competition in Novi Sad, in Serbien.

Levon Avagyan performs in different festivals such as «Komitas Festival», «Kissinger Sommer» , «Junge Künstler – Stars von morgen»  Festival in Germany and «Next Generation Classic Festival Bad Ragaz» in Switzerland. He appears regulary in Germany, USA, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Liechtenstein, France, Greece, Italy and Austria.





Hin Yat Sang - Second Prize

Born in Hong Kong, Hin-Yat Tsang began to play the piano at the age of four. He was admitted to the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts as a Junior Student under the tutelage of Eleanor Wong. A Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholar, Hin-Yat obtained his Bachelor of Music Degree from the Academy, graduating with first class honours.

 A winner of various awards such as the First and Audience Prize at the Third Manchester International Concerto Competition as well as the First Prize at the 73rd Steinway & Sons International Youths Competition; Hin-Yat was also a top prizewinner in the 2008 Gina Bachauer Young Artist Competition. In 2010, the title of ‘The Hong Kong Young Musician of the Year’ was bestowed on Hin-Yat, making his debút with the Hong Kong Philharmonic in the Grand Final. Hin-Yat was also the recipient of the inaugural Zhou Guangren Young Pianist Award in the same month. During 2012, Hin-Yat collaborated with Maestro Trevor Pinnock in an all-Mozart program with the Academy Symphony Orchestra, and in the same year, was the joint Second Prize winner in the Senior Category of the Third James Mottram International Piano Competition. In early 2014, Hin-Yat received the Gold Medal in the Asia Chopin Competition in Tokyo.

Hin-Yat has collaborated with many ensembles and orchestras including the Prima Vista Quartet, Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra, Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the Manchester Camerata, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra. Hin-Yat has given recitals in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tokyo and extensively in China, Germany and the United Kingdom, including a performance at the biannual International Steinway Festival in Hamburg. 

A former Croucher Foundation Hong Kong Scholar and Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund recipient, Hin-Yat is presently supported by the Craxton Memorial Trust as well as the Worshipful Company of Musicians and is the current Constant & Kit Lambert Junior Fellow at the Royal College of Music in London under the guidance of renowned Russian pedagogue Dmitri Alexeev.





Anastasia Rizikova - Third Prize

At age seven, she made her orchestral debut, and has since appeared as soloist with major orchestras of North America and Europe. In 2015 alone, Ms. Rizikov won first places at the Jaén International Piano Competition and the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition, recorded a CD with NAXOS, and performed at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland.Since placing first at The Vladimir Horowitz International Young Pianists Competition in Kiev, Ukraine (where she also received a special award for Best Artistic Performance) and first sharing the stage with orchestra playing Polunin's Concertino in A minor with the National Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine conducted by Mykola Diadiura at age seven, Anastasia stepped on to the international competition circuit, winning many awards in the process. Resolving to compete in adult competitions since the age of twelve, Anastasia won first places over musicians twice her age in the following competitions: the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition, along with prizes for best compulsory work by E. Pozzoli, and audience prize (Seregno, Italy, 2015); the Jaén International Piano Competition, as well as taking all three additional prizes- for the best interpretation of Spanish music, for the best interpretation of the compulsory work, and the audience prize"(Jaén, Spain, 2015); the 13th «Giuliano Pecar» International Piano Competition (Gorizia, Italy, 2013); George Gershwin International Music Competition (Brooklyn, NY, 2013); as well as Rotary International Piano Competition (Palma de Mallorca, Spain, 2011), where she became the youngest person to compete and win in their history.

In 2015, Ms. Rizikov played Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor twice with the Granada Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Paul Mann in Granada and Jaén, Spain, and in 2014, tackled one of the most technically challenging piano concertos – Rachmaninoff No. 3 in D minor with Laval Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with conductor Alain Trudel in Quebec. With over 30 orchestral performances and 20 concerti in her repertoire, Anastasia has already played with such major orchestras as Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia, Michigan Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra London Canada, International Symphony Orchestra, National Academy Orchestra of Canada, Baleares Symphony Orchestra, and Sinfonia Toronto, and has worked with such conductors as Peter Oundjian, Shalom Bard, Bernhard Gueller, Alain Trudel, Boris Brott, Ovidiu Balan, and Salvador Brotons,  to name a few.

Anastasia’s concert schedules have taken her to Asia, all over Europe - Spain, Italy, Switzerland, France, Poland, Ukraine, Russia - the United States, and Canada, where she has played in such prestigious halls and spaces such as Carnegie Hall, Roy Thomson Hall, Koerner Hall, Fazioli Hall, Auditorio Manuel de Falla, Hong Kong City Hall, and the Kremlin. In 2015, Ms. Rizikov performed in major international music festivals like the Orford Music Festival, and the Verbier Music Festival. In the fall of 2013, Anastasia gave 20 performances over two weeks throughout all the Atlantic provinces of Canada as winner of the prestigious Debut Atlantic Award.

Anastasia Rizikov studies with award-winning professor Maia Spis, teacher at the Nadia Music Academy in Toronto. Since beginning her studies at the age of five, she has shown unparalleled dedication to both practice and performance. Ms. Rizikov has played in master classes for Sergei Babayan, Arie Vardi, Robert Levin, Ferenc Rados, Anatoly Ryabov, Oxana Yablonskaya, and has worked with András Schiff, Emanuel Ax, Menahem Pressler, Gabor Takács-Nagy, and Olga Kern. 

In December, 2012, in honor of Glenn Gould's 80th Anniversary Year and his Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, The Glenn Gould Foundation has provided a C1X Yamaha baby grand piano Anastasia. She has the piano on an indefinite loan-basis to aid in her artistic and career development.

Hiroo Sato - First Prize


Hiroo Sato, winner of the 62nd Maria Canals International Music Competition, was born in Iwate Japan. He graduated from the Tokyo College of Music High School and Tokio College of Music. After that, he studied in the Berlin University of the Arts, now he is studying in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

Sato holds second prize at the 21st Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition (2015, in Spain), first prize at the 5th San Nicola di Bari International Piano Competition (2011, in Italy), third prize at the 4rth Sendai International Music Competition (2010, in Japan) and first prize at the 76th Music Competition of Japan in 2007 (at the same time he won the Nomura prize, the Iguchi prize and the Kawai prize). He also won the first prizes at the 58th Student Music Competition of Japan in 2004 and the 1st Minoru Mojima Yokosuka Piano Competition in 2006.

In 2004, he played in the 14th Japan and Germany Young Artists Interchange Concert, and also he performed in Germany as an invitation player in 2005. In 2008 he participated in the 17th International Music Festival "Young Prague" as a soloist.

In 2012 he recorded the CD "Hiroo Sato plays 3 Sonatas" in Japan published by Nami Records.

He has performed with the Prague Chamber Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, the Gunma Symphony Orchestra, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the Japan Philarmonic Orchestra, the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Central Aichi Symphoni Orchestra.

He is studying the piano under such masters as Prof. Eliso Virsaladze, Prof. Kazuko Sumi and Prof. Minoru Nojima.





 

Shiori Kuwahara - Second Prize


Shiori Kuwahara was born in Tokyo / Japan in 1995. During her study at the Attached High School and in the first grade of Tokyo University of the Arts, she became a laureat of all three big domestic competitions in Japan, in which finalists perform with professional orchestra.

In 2012 won the 2nd prize of the 10th Tokyo Music competition. In 2013, won the Silver Prize, with the Audience Award and Oji Hall Awarrd at Grade Superior of the 37th PTNA piano competition. Also in 2014, won the 2nd prize and Audience Prize at the 83rd Music Competition of Japan, which brought her to appear NHK TV and radio programs.

She was invited to have recitals from Japan Foundation, Yamaha Ginza Kawai Omotesando, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Suginami Public Hall and so on, and also from foreign countries: Honolulu (Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall), Vienna Franz Liszt Hall in the University for Music in Vienna) and Praha (International Music Festival Young Praha in Rudolfinum). She played in front of Her Majesty at Young Praha Concert in Tokyo.

She also appears as a soloist of the orchestras in Tokyo: Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Phlharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra with the prominent conductors: Kazumasa Watanabe, Masahiko Enkoji, Naohiro Totsuka, Norichika Iimori.

She gets special scholarshop from Ezoe Memorial Foundation, Tokuji Munetsugu Foundation, The Yasuko Fukuda Scholarship Foundation and Yamaha Music Foundation.

Currently she studies with Prof. Kei Itoh and Jacques Rouvier at Tokyo University of the Arts.




 

Yutong Sun - Third Prize


Yutong Sun was born in 28 September 1995. He graduated from The Music School Attached to the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. He studied with Prof. Hua Chang, he has also received instructions from Prof. Marian Rybicky and Prof. Boaz Sharon. He will study in New England Conservatory of Music and will study with Prof. Alexander Korsantia. Yutong Sung has won many important national and international piano competitions, such as:

The First prize winner and gold medal of 54th International Piano Competition Prize "Jaen" 2012 in Spain (12-20 April 2012) (Member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions).

First Prize: Regina Chernychko 

Regina Chernychko  was born on 18th May 1986 in Charkiw (Ukraine). She received her first piano lessons at the age of 4,with Surjenko Irina in the Charkiw Special Intermediate Music School in Charkiw. Two years later she was accepted into the Charkiw Special Intermediate Music School in Charkiw (1991–2003). From 1996 she had lessons with Zaharova Svetlana and also with her mother, Inna Chernychko. Since 2003 she studied at the University of Musik Karlsruhe in Germany with Prof. Olga Rissin-Morenova and starting from 2012 at the University of Musik Karlsruhe in Germany with Prof. Ralf Gothóni/Piano- Chamber music, Solistenexam and from 2011-Piano Performance with Prof. Olga Rissin-Morenova, Solistenexam. Since October 2008 she also studied at Accademia Pianistica Internazionale in Imola (Italy) with Prof. Leonid Margarius.

Ms. Chernychko made her orchestral debut in 1993 with the Charkiw Philharmonic Orchestra at the Opera Theater in Charkiw, and also played with: the Youth Symphony Orchestra in Charkiw; Opera Symphony Orchestra in Charkiw; Charkiw Philharmonic Orchestra; Orchestra Sinfonica di Roma e del Lazio (Italy); Chamber Orchestra in Karlsruhe (Germany); Orkest van heet Oosten (Netherlands); Fort Worth Symphony Orchester (USA); St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra (Russia) National Symphony Orchestra Respublik Belarus (Belarus); Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès( Spain), Baden-Baden Philharmonie Symphony Orchester. She has been in tournée with Dirigent Howard Griffiths and Animato Philharmonie .

Ms. Chernychko took a part in Master Classes with Sontraud Speidel, Michel Beroff, Eteri Andjaparidze, Jerome Rose, Elena Kuznezova, Mykola Suk, Boris Petrushansky, Alexander Braginsky, Eduard Zilberkant, Philippe Entremont, Dmitry Rachmanov, Emanuel Krasovsky, Joaquin Achúcharo, Peter Donohou, Tamás Ungár, Yoheved Kaplinsky, José Feghali, Malcolm Bilson, Olga Kern, Alexander Kobrin, Akiko Ebi, Geoffrey Madge and Willem Brons.

Make recording on the Radio SWR (Germany), Bergen (Netherlands) and in 2012 recorded for Catalunya Música (radio) at Palau de la Música Catalana ( Barcelona ). In 2010 she played in a live broadcast on SWR 2 Kulturforum with Joachim Kaiser as guest.

Third Prize: Tatiana Chernichjka

Tatiana Chernichjka From an early age, the pianist Tatiana Chernichka was among the most promising talents of her generation. Born in Novosibirsk, Russia, in 1984, she was awarded the First Prize in the International Chopin Competition in Göttingen, Germany when she was only 10 years old. Two years later, she gave her first solo recital and made her debut with the Novosibirsk Symphony Orchestra, performing the Piano Concerto No. 1 in Eb major by Franz Liszt.
Tatiana Chernichka has since been successful in numerous competitions. She was awarded the Third Prize in the 58th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, Italy, as well as in the 60th Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona. She was also a finalist in the renowned Concours Reine Elisabeth in Brussels. As a prize winner in the Busoni Competition, she was given the opportunity to participate in three master classes with the legendary Alfred Brendel, in Essen, Bolzano and Reykjavik.

The young pianist has since performed in Germany and abroad, throughout Europe and Russia. She has been a guest artist at such festivals as the “Armonie sotto la Rocca” in Italy, “Musikal Kremlin” in Moscow and the “Ruhr Piano Festival” in Essen. She also took part in the Tel-Hai Piano Master Classes in Israel.

Tatiana Chernichka has played with such orchestras as the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, the Israel Symphony Orchestra, the “Musica Viva” Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Gustav Mahler Academy and the Polish Chamber Orchestra “AUSKO.”

Tatiana Chernichka received her early training at the music school of the M. I. Glinka Conservatory for gifted youth in Novosibirsk, where she was instructed by Professor Mary Lebenson. She has lived in Munich since 2003, where she studied with Professor Eliso Virsaladze. She received her Master’s Degree with honors at the “Mozarteum” Salzburg in 2011, where she was instructed by Professor Klaus Kaufmann.

Tatiana Chernichka has received a grant from the Foundation “Live Music Now” in Munich. Since 2009 she has also held a contract for accompaniment at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts .Vestibulum sodales

First Prize: Stanislav Khristenko

Stanislav Khristenko's performances has captivated audiences on four continents since his first solo recital at the age of eleven. A 'poet', 'an architect of great forms' (LeSoir), 'perfectionist', Stanislav has been praised in the media around the globe. His playing was described by Belgian LaLibre as 'masterful', 'generous' and 'beyond fascination'. Spanish ElPais wrote about Stanislav's 'precise technic and poweful sound'. The Washington Post wrote “it was clear that Khristenko knows how to spin a story; his pacing was mature and unhurried, the dynamic range wide, and his fingers exhibited power and sensitivity." Of his Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall solo recital The New York Concert Review said "[he] has the poise and intellect of a seasoned performer.” Stanislav's performance was described by The Cleveland Plain Dealer as “a deeply spiritual with great individuality”and“tour-de-force of technical, musical and stylistic mastery”.      Stanislav has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra of Belgium, the Cleveland Orchestra, Phoenix Symphony, Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra, Berliner Musikfreunde Orchestra, Takamatsu Symphony Orchestra, Arkansas Symphony, Northwest Florida Symphony and Moscow Conservatory Orchestra among others. His performance highlights include solo recitals in Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Schubertsaal in Vienna, Phillips Collection in Washington; and performances with orchestra in Grosser Hall of Berlin Philharmonie, Severance Hall in Cleveland, Moscow Conservatory Great Hall and Hong Kong City Hall.
     
The winner of over 25 International Piano Competitions including Queen Elizabeth Competition in Belgium, 59th Maria Canals Competition in Spain, International Piano Competition in Pretoria, South Africa, Stanislav also won top prizes in Mexico, Italy, Japan, Korea, Greece, Slovakia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Russia and the United States. Stanislav has been a recipient of Emil Gilels Award of  the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation and Russian Performance Art Foundation Award.
 
Born in Ukraine, Stanislav Khristenko is a graduate of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He also received an Artist Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2010 where he studied as a full scholarship student with Sergei Babayan.

First Prize Premi: Soo-Jung Ann

Soo-Jung Ann was born in Seoul in 1987. She began the piano at the age of 6 and studied at Yewon Art School and the preparatory school of the Korean National University of Arts. She studied with Prof. Choong-Mo Kang and obtained a Bachelor Degree of Music at the Korean National University of Arts in Feb. 2007. She has been a student of Prof. John O’Conor and Thérèse Fahy at the Royal Irish Academy of Music since Sep. 2007. In 2009, she received her degree for Master of Music in Performance and now she is studying for the doctorate degree in Music Performance.

Soo-Jung Ann has had great success at International Piano Competitions- the 6th prize of the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 2009, the 3rd prize of the AXA Dublin International Piano Competition in 2009, the 4th prize of the Hong Kong International Piano Competition in 2011 where in the final she performed the Rachmaninoff 3rd piano concerto conducted by Vladimir Ashkenazy. She recently was awarded the 1st prize with a Gold Medal at the 58th International Music Competition Maria Canals of Barcelona in 2012, and the number of concerts and Naxos CD recording will be offered to her as the supplementary prizes.

Soo-Jung Ann has performed widely throughout her native country Korea in addition to Ireland, France, Japan, Malaysia, Macedonia, Poland, and Russia and she has performed as concerto soloist with Kracow Philharmonic Orchestra, Macedonia Philharmonic Orchestra, Wieniawski Philharmonic Orchestra, Rzeszow Philharmonic Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also appeared at a number of music festivals including Euro Music Festival and Academy in Leipzig, Germany, the Hamamatsu Music Academy in Japan and the Aspen Music Festival and School in the USA.

Second Prize: Nozomi Nakagiri

Nozomi Nakagiri
(Okayama, Japó, 1987) es graduà com una de les millors de la seva promoció a la Universitat Nacional de Belles Artes i Música de Tòquio (Japó). Obtingué el  Premi Acanthus de Música, el Premi Ataka, i el Premi Norio Ohga quan es graduà. Al llarg de la seva trajectòria professional ha obtingut els següents premis:

’06 Concurs Musical Suita (Japó) 1er premi
'10 Concurs Musical de Japó: 2on premi
'11 Concurs Internacional de Piano Rosario Marciano (Viena) 2on premi i premi Sonja Huber.
’12  Concurs Internacional Maria Canals de Barcelona, 2on premi i premi del públic.

Ha tocat com a solista amb orquestres com la Orquestra Filharmònica de Okayama, la Orquestra Filharmònica de Kansai, i la orquestra Filharmònica de Tòquio. Ha fet recitals a Tòquio i ha participat en el projecte de la Universitat Nacional de Belles Artes i Música de Tokio : PianoSeries 2010 "Chopin&Schumann&Liszt", i al Festival Chopin a Omotesando (Japó) 2011. Premi de les Arts i la Cultura del Gran Premi Okayama. Entre els professors que ha tingut cal destacar: Prof.Tazuko Ashida, Prof.Eva Poblocka, Prof.Yu Kakuno. Actualment està estudiant un master de dos anys a la Universitat Nacional de Belles Arts i Música de Tòquio (Japó).





Third Prize: Vadym Khodolenko

Vadym Khodolenko va néixer el 1986 a Kiev, Ucraïna. A partir de 1994, va estudiar a l’escola especialitzada en música Mykola Lysenko (amb la professora Natalia Grydneva i el professor Borys Fedorov). Als tretze anys, guanyà el tercer premi al Concurs V. Krainev (a Kharkov, Ucraïna) i l’any següent obtingué el segon premi al Concurs Internacional V. Horowitz a Kiev. A partir d’aquest moment Vadym començà a tocar a l’estranger, i va fer les seves primeres actuacions als Estats Units, Xina, Hongria i Croàcia. El 2011 guanyà el primer premi al Concurs de Piano Schubert (Dortmund, Alemanya), el primer premi del Concurs Sendai  (2010, Sendai Japó) i obtingué el Grand Prix al Maria Callas Grand Prix 2004 a Atenes Grècia. Tocà per primera vegada amb l’Orquestra “Novaya Rossiya” (Nova Rússia) conduïda per Yuri Bashmet en un dels millors escenaris d’europa, el teatre Herod Atticus.

El 2004 Vadym obtingué el premi nacional de la joventut russa “Triumph”.

A partir de 2005 Vadym, estudià al Conservatori  Estatal de Moscou de la prestigiosa Vera Gornostaeva. Vadym tocà recitals i concerts amb orquestra a Ucraïna, Rússia, Estats Units, Xina, Japó, França, Itàlia, Alemanya, Àustria, Suïssa, República Txeca Romania, Polònia Lituània i Israel. Ha col•laborat amb nombrosos directors d’orquestra incloent Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Spivakov, Mark Gorenstein, Alexandr Rudin, Dmitry Liss, Eugeny Bushkov, Alexandr Sladkovskiy. També ha tocat concerts de càmara i ha gravat un CD amb la violinista Alena Baeva a Japó. Vadym ha gravat nombrosos Cds incloent obres de Schubert, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Medtner i compositors contemporanis. A partir de 2007, Vadym Khodolenko i Andrei Gugnin van formar el seu duet de piano anomenat “Duo!” El 2008 van obtenir el segon premi   en un dels concursos més importants de duos de piano a San Marino, i posteriorment van fer  una gira de concerts per Itàlia. “Duo!”  fa constantment concerts  per tot Rússia.
Pel 2010 està planejada la sortida d’un CD amb obres de Debussy, Ravel i Rachmaninoff sota el segell “Delos”.

First Prize: Mateusz Borowiak

Mateusz Borowiak va estudiar piano i composició al Junior Guildhall i música al Girton College, de Cambridge, on es graduà amb honors dobles de primera classe al 2009. Actualment estudia amb el professor Andrej Jasinski a la Karol Szymanowski Acadèmia de Música de Katowice, Polònia.

En Mateusz ha actuat a nombroses salas a Gran Bretanya incloent Barbican, Birmingham i la Sala Cadogan, Purcell Room, St. James’s Piccadilly, St. Martin-in-the Fields, Snape Maltings, King’s College Chapel, la Sala de concert West Road a Cambridge, i festivals com els de King’s Lynn, Lower Machen, el Northern Aldborough, Stratfort on Avon i Cambridge, i a l’estranger a Àustria, Bèlgica, la República Txeca, Itàlia, Polònia, Espanya, Letònia i Ucraïna. Ha actuat amb orquestres com la Royal Filharmònica de Londres, Mozart Players, l’Orquestra simfònica de la Societat Musical de la Universitat de Cambridge, l’Orquestra de Cambra de la Unió Europea, l’Orquestra de Cambra Silesiana, l’’Orquestra simfònica de la Universitat de Cambridge, la Simfonieta de Cracòvia, la London Octave i la Orquestra filharmònica de Czestochowa.

Second Prize: Alexey Levedeb

Alexey Levedeb, guanyador del Segon Premi i del Premi del Públic del 57 Concurs Internacional de Música Maria Canals, va néixer a Leningrad (Sant Petersburg) el 24 de maig del 1980. Als sis anys va començar els estudis de piano a l’Art Lyceum de St. Petersburg, amb el Viktor Kostramitin. Posteriorment (1995) va continuar estudis al Conservatori N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov de la mateixa ciutat amb les professores Svetlana Karzina, Tatiana Kravchenko i Tatiana Zagorovoskaya. L’any 2004 va anar a estudiar al Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Hannover amb els professors Einar Steen-N¨kleberg, Matti Raekallio i Mi-Kyung Kim. També ha participat a Masterclasses impartides per Alfred Brendel, Leon Fleischer, William Grand Nabore, Xu Zhong, Joaquín Soriano, John O’Conor, i Tamas Ungar. Ha rebut diverses beques d’estudi d’Alemània: Richard-Wagner-Verband de Hannover (2006), Lutz E. Adolf Stiftung de Bielefeld (2007-2008), Oscar Vera Ritter Stiftung de Hamburg (2009) i AlfredToepfer Stiftung de Hamburg (2010).

El seu palmarès de premis s’inicia al 1998 amb el Primer Premi de la 3ª edició del Concurs Internacional de Música de Dobrich (Bulgària), i de la segona edició del Festival Internacional “Peter the Great” de Holanda. Quart Premi de la segona edició del Concurs Internacional de Piano D. L’any 2008 va ser guardonat amb el Primer Premi als següents Concursos Internacionals de Música : “Toscana Clàssica” , Itàlia; Maria Campina, Portugal; Montrod les Bains, França; G. Campochiaro, Itàlia; “Euterpe 2008 Trophy”, on va rebre també el Premi del públic. Va rebre també el Segon Premi al Concurs Internacional de Piano Alexander Scriabin, França, i al Pietro Argento, Itàlia.

Segon Premi i Premi especial al millor intèrpret de música contemporània al Concurs Internacional de Piano F. Busoni, Italia (2009). Primer Premi del Concurs Internacional de Música “Toscana Classica”, Itàlia (2009), i del Concurs Internacional de Piano Eugènia Verdet, Espanya, (2009). El 2010 va rebre el Tercer Premi del Concurs Internacional de Piano José Iturbi de València, Espanya (2010). El 2011 va guanyar el 2on Premi i el Premi del Públic del 57 Concurs Internacional de Música Maria Canals de Barcelona.

A més ha participat al festivals: “Virtuosen des XX Jahrehunderts” 1998 (St. Petersburg, Rússia); Festival Internacional de Piano de Merignac , 2005 (Burdeos, França); Klassic in der Altstadt Festival 2006 (Hannover, Alemanya); Festivals de Maratea i Peruggia 2007 (Itàlia); Wennigsen Music Festival (Wenningsen, Alemanya); Festival Internacional de Música de Peralada 2010 (Girona, Espanya); Festival de Piano Ferruccio Busoni 2010 (Bolzano, Itàlia).





Third Prize: Alexey Chernov

Alexey Chernov ( nascut el 1982 ) va començar els seus estudis de música als 4 anys. Va estudiar a l’Escola Central Especial de Música del Conservatori Tchaikovsky de Moscou, amb els professors N. Rogal-Levitskaya, Kira Shashkina i Natalia Troull. Durant aquests anys d’escola va guanyar Premis en diversos concursos internacionals de piano per a joves. Es va graduar al Conservatori Tchaikovsky de Moscou i actualment fa un postgrau al Royal College of Music de Londres on estudia amb Vanessa Latarche.

Els Premis guanyats per Alexey Chernov durant els últims anys: Sisè Premi de la 14 edició del Concurs Internacional de Piano Vianna da Motta de Lisboa (2001), Quart Premi de la desena edició del Concurs Internacional de Piano de Pretòria, Sud-Àfrica (2004), Primer Premi del Concurs Internacional de Piano de Minsk/Bielorrússia (2005), Segon Premi al Concurs Internacional de Piano Parnassos, Mèxic, (2006); Segon Premi del Concurs Internacional de Piano Emil Gilels, Ucraïna (2006) i de la quarta edició del Concurs Internacional de Piano Scriabin, Moscou (2008). També ha estat guardonat amb el Primer Premi, Premi del Públic i Premi especial al Concurs Internacional de Piano Scriabin a Grossseto, Itàlia (2009). Durant el 2010 ha guanyat el Segon Premi al Primer Concurs Internacional de Piano de Sussex, Anglaterra (abril 2010), Primer Premi al Concurs Internacional de Piano Jean Françaix de Vanves, França (abril 2010), Primer Premi a la vintena edició del Concurs Internacional de piano Valsessia Música de Itàlia (setembre 2010), Primer Premi del Concurs Internacional de Piano “Luciano Gante” de Pordedone, Itàlia (octubre 2010), i Primer Premi de la quarta edició del Concurs Internacional de Piano de Campillos, Espanya (desembre 2010) i Tercer Premi del 57 Concurs Internacional de Música Maria Canals de Barcelona (març 2011).

Alexey Chernov ha actuat com a solista sota la batuta de directors d’orquestra de prestigi, com ara Enrique Batiz, Alexander Sladkovsky, Mikhail Pletnev, Ravil Martynov, Dmitry Orlov, entre d’altres. Actualment continua donant concerts com a solista i també amb orquestra, tant a Rússia com a la resta de Europa.

First Prize: Denis Zhdanov

Denis Zhdanov (nascut a Ucraïna, el 1988) és estudiant de l'Acadèmia Internacional de Piano d'Imola "Incontri col Maestro", sota la tutela del professor Leonid Margarius (www.margarius.com), i també a l'Acadèmia Nacional de Música d'Ucraïna , amb el professor Borys Fedorov.

Va comença la seva carrera internacional donant recitals i va debuta com a solista amb orquestra amb un recital a Lodz (2007), que va obtenir un gran reconeixement tant per part del públic com per part de la crítica. Denis Zhdanov també va participar en dos concerts del primer Festival Internacional de Piano Arthur Rubinstein de Lodz, Polònia el 2008. A l'octubre de 2009 va tocar el Concert per a piano n º 1 de Chopin en un esdeveniment especial per commemorar el 160 aniversari de la mort del compositor a Lodz, Polònia. També va ser convidat a fer un recital per commemorar el 200 aniversari del naixement de Chopin a Kíev celebrat l'1 de març de 2010.

Denis Zhdanov ha actuat amb l'Orquestra Simfònica de Pomerània a Bydgoszcz, l'Orquestra de la Ràdio i la Televisió d'Ucraïna, l'Orquestra de Cambra "Nova Amadeus" de Roma, l'Orquestra Simfònica Nacional de Geòrgia, i l'Orquestra Simfònica Iuventus de Varsòvia.

Denis Zhdanov va rebre les seves primeres lliçons de piano amb V. Danilova a l'edat de 9 anys a la seva ciutat natal, Chernigov, i ja va aconseguir alguns èxits durant els seus primers anys d'estudis. Es va convertir en el guanyador d'un concurs de piano regional, tot i ser el pianista més jove que hi participava. Més tard, a l'edat de quinze anys es va traslladar a Kíev, la capital d'Ucraïna, i va continuar els seus estudis a l'Escola Especial de Música Lysenko de Kíev amb el Prof T. Abayeva.

En la seva recerca per millorar el seu desenvolupament artístic, Denis ha rebut classes magistrals de pianistes de renom com D. Alexeev, A. Braginsky, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, K. Hellwig, W. Manz, J. Rose, A. Malikova i altres.

També cal destacar que el pianista ucraïnès es va convertir en guanyador del 56 Concurs Internacional de Piano Maria Canals de Barcelona, Espanya, el març de 2010 (membre de la Federació Mundial de Concursos Internacionals de Música). A més del 1r premi també va rebre tres Premis Especials, així com més de 20 actuacions a Europa i Àsia, i l’enregistrament d'un CD en solitari amb el segell Naxos.

A més de la seva victòria en el Concurs Internacional de Piano Maria Canals, Denis Zhdanov ha guanyat nombrosos premis incloent el 1r Premi en el 7è Concurs Internacional de Piano per a Joves "Arthur Rubinstein in Memoriam" a Bydgoszcz, Polònia (EMCY, 2007), el 1r Premi i Premi Especial en el 19è Concurs Internacional de Piano "Roma-2009: Premi Chopin" (Itàlia), el 3r premi en el Concurs Internacional de Piano de Tbilisi a Geòrgia (WFIMC, 2005) i el 4t Premi i Premi Especial a la millor interpretació d'una sonata clàssica en el mateix concurs.





Second Prize: Olga Kozlova

Olga Kozlova va néixer el 1986 a la ciutat de Penza, Rússia. Va començar a estudiar el piano als cinc anys i el 1994 va ser acceptada a la Moscow Special Gnesin’s School of Music, on es va graduar el 2004. Després va ingressar al Conservatori Txaikovsky de Moscou on es va graduar el 2009 amb diploma d’honor.

Olga Kozlova ha estat premiada en molts concursos internacionals. Entre d’altres: el segon premi del Concurs Internacional Valsesia-Música 2008 a Varallo (Itàlia), el premi Internacional del Concurs “Premi Liszt” a Grottammare (Itàlia, 2009), el premi del Concurs Internacional de Piano “Compositores Españoles” (Madrid 2009) y el 50 Concurs Internacional Premi Jaén (2008). 

Olga Kozlova ha tocat en prestigiosos escenaris a Moscou, i ha fet recitals a Rússia, Alemanya, Itàlia, Holanda, Polònia, França, Espanya i Suïssa. També ha toca amb orquestres simfòniques i de cambra a Rússia (sota Mikhail Khokhlov, Alexandrer Soulsky, Mikhail Scherbakov) i amb la Jena Philarmonic Orchestra (d’Alemanya) sota la dirección de Nicholas Milton. D’altra banda també interpreta música de cambra.

Entre els seus projectes recents està la interpretació de tota l’Ofrena Musical de Bach, i també recitals de les obres de Robert Schumann per a veu i piano.

També ha enregistrat obres de Liszt i altres recitals que han estat retransmesos per algunes ràdios a Alemanya.





Third Prize: Marko Hilpo

Marko Hilpo va néixer a Finlàndia el 1983. Començà estudis de música a la Sibelius Academy de Helsinki amb Hansa Juris. L’any 2003 va guanyar el 4rt premi del Nordic Pentti Koskimies Lied Competition. De 2007 a 2009 estudià a l’Escola Superior de Música Reina Sofia amb Dimitri Bashkirov i Claudio Martínez-Mehner. Ha participat a Masterclasses impartides per Andras Schiff Emmanuel Krasovsky, i Joaquín Achúcarro, entre d’altres. L’any 2008 va rebre el premi al “Alumno más sobresaliente” atorgat per l’Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía de Madrid al millor alumne de piano i de música de cambra durant el curs 2007-2008. La Reina Sofia personalment li va fer entrega del premi.

Ha donat concerts a l’Auditorio Nacional de Madrid, al Weil Recital Hall del Carnegie Hall de Nova York, al National Concert Hall de Dublin, Eesti Rahvusoper de Tallin, Palacio de Festivales de Santander. I també a altres ciutats europees, especialmente a Finlandia i Espanya. Ha actuat amb l’Orquestra Simfònica de la Radio Finlandesa i també amb la Amko Symphony de Kuopio.Ha fet diversos enregistraments pels arxius de la Ràdio Finlandesa. Des de 2005 és pianista acompanyant al departament de cant de la Sibelius Academy. Ha estrenat obres dels compositors Tapio Tuomela, Olli Virtaperko i Pekka Jalkanen.
